Mocobizscene- The Gretna Police Department convened a news conference on Wednesday, January 31, to declare the apprehension of a man and a juvenile linked to the murder of a homeless man on January 12.

According to the GPD, 19-year-old Maurrio Antoine has been charged with principal second-degree murder. The GPD has not released the identity of the juvenile who is believed to have fired the gun, resulting in the death of 47-year-old Ronald McClure.

According to investigators, this fatal shooting may be linked to a previous incident in which McClure stabbed a juvenile. It is worth noting that McClure had an outstanding warrant for aggravated battery related to this incident.
