Washington: A man was apprehended and accused by the Metropolitan Police Department in Northwest in connection with two armed robberies.
It has been determined that the suspect is Darryl Love, 62, of Northwest, D.C.
On Friday, November 10, around 7:28 p.m., Love allegedly accosted a victim in the vicinity of the 5200 block of Georgia Avenue, according to the police. The suspect, according to the police, brandished a handgun and stole the victim’s property. The fugitive evaded the location.
At approximately 11:43 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, Love allegedly accosted another victim in the 5400 block of Georgia Avenue, according to the police. A handgun was drawn by the suspect, who then demanded the victim’s belongings. The defendant failed to comply. Responding units apprehended the suspect.
Love was charged with two counts of armed robbery subsequent to his apprehension.
