According to reports, Colorado Springs witnessed a bank robbery on Tuesday which resulted in the arrest of a man.
Police in Colorado Springs were notified of a robbery at a bank located in the 1400 block of N. Academy Boulevard at approximately 2:30 p.m.
According to the police online blotter, a man entered the bank wearing unique clothing and demanded money using a note. He successfully left the bank with the money he received. However, he was apprehended by patrol and K9 officers shortly after. Despite sustaining minor injuries, the male suspect was taken into custody.
Blake Young has been identified as the suspect.
