Vermont police arrest person for meth possession during traffic stop

MBS – Vermont: A 25-year-old man from Brooklyn, Justin Dugger, has been arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine after being pulled over in Rutland, Vermont.

Vermont State Police reported that Dugger was pulled over on South Main Street in Rutland at around 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday. During the conversation, troopers noticed signs of drug impairment in Dugger.

Upon conducting a search of both Dugger and his vehicle, state troopers discovered what they believed to be methamphetamine, leading to his arrest for suspected drug possession. Additionally, Dugger underwent a standardized field sobriety test and was subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Charges:

    • Possession of methamphetamine
    • DUI Drug

After being apprehended, Dugger was brought to the Rutland State Police Barracks where he underwent processing. Subsequently, he was released on a citation, with an order to appear before the Rutland Criminal Court to face charges.
