Mocobizscene- The Los Angeles Police Department says that a mother and son were shot while sleeping in their South Los Angeles home on Monday night. An investigation is now begun.
It took place around 11 p.m. Monday at a house in the 1500 block of W. 46th Avenue.
Police told that the mother and her teenage son were sleeping in the front room of the house when shots were fired from outside. Police say that both the mother and the son were shot and taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
There was no suspect information available right away.
