Lomita Pedestrian Killed By Multiple Hit-And-Run Drivers

Mocobizscene- In the Lomita neighborhood on New Year’s Eve, a pedestrian was struck and murdered by multiple hit-and-run vehicles. Some of the vehicles fled the scene.

At approximately eleven o’clock on Sunday night, the victim was struck by a vehicle as they were crossing Western Avenue close to 247th Place in the Lomita neighborhood. According to the Los Angeles police department, the victim was struck by two further vehicles while they were lying on the ground, but the drivers did not stop to provide assistance.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police. Following notice to the next of kin, their name was hidden from public consumption.
