The capital, Washington, On Monday, three individuals were shot while traversing a cycle trail bridge in the vicinity of a Metro station in northeast Washington, according to authorities.
Just before 6:15 p.m. on Monday, a triple gunshot was reported along the mountain bike trail bridge in the 680 block of Rhode Island Avenue, close to the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro station.
A male, a woman, and a third individual were walking across the bridge when they heard gunshots, according to the police. Each of the three individuals was injured by gunfire. Three victims who were transported to adjacent hospitals with injuries were conscious and respirant.
An investigation is still ongoing into the shooting.
