A minor has been taken into custody by Montgomery police following reports of gunshots being heard in the Arrowhead subdivision situated off Atlanta Highway on Wednesday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., a call was made to the police reporting a shooting in the 100 block of Ocala Drive. Upon arriving at the scene, investigators interviewed a witness who claimed that her vehicle had been hit by gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Authorities have taken a 16-year-old boy into custody after he discharged a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle. The teen is now facing one count of this offense and is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. As the investigation is still ongoing, the Montgomery police have not disclosed any further information regarding the suspect or the motive behind the incident.
