Virginia Beach Man Shot In Wendy’s Parking Lot

Virginia Beach, Virginia: Sunday evening, a man was severely injured in a gunshot that occurred in the Wendy’s parking lot; the Virginia Beach Police Department is conducting an investigation.

Just before 6:40 p.m., numerous law enforcement and emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of South Independence Boulevard and Bonney Road. Crime scene tape was erected by the police around the fast food restaurant’s parking lot.
A police spokesperson for Virginia Beach stated that a male with a life-threatening gunshot wound was transported to the hospital by first responders. A responding officer affirmed that the victim sustained a leg wound.

Information regarding a potential suspect or the circumstances surrounding the incident remains confidential at this time. The incident occurs less than one week after another fast food establishment in Hampton Roads lost a 17-year-old employee to gunfire. It occurred at the Hampton rally grounds off West Mercury Boulevard.
