A man was shot during a burglary at a home on University Drive in Huntsville early Sunday morning in an unexpected turn of events.
The suspect’s arrest was confirmed by the Huntsville Police Department. The defendant, a 42-year-old man, allegedly knew the victim and is now facing accusations of domestic violence and burglary.
These suspected victim relationships give insight into a probable reason for the crime. Following his arrest, authorities expect him to be held at the Madison County Jail.
