Two people have been detained in connection with a gunshot and robbery in Tuscaloosa

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – On August 8, a shooting took place in Tuscaloosa which led to the arrest of two individuals.

The victim arrived at DCH Regional Medical Center at 11:30 p.m., suffering from a gunshot wound, and it was discovered by the Tuscaloosa PD that the shooting occurred at the Exxon gas station in the 1500 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.

Following initial investigations, charges have been filed against two suspects in connection with the case.

Keanthony Foster, who is 18 years old, has been charged with attempted murder and first-degree robbery, while Erica Leshay Thomas, who is 19, has been charged with first-degree robbery.

Both have been sent to jail without bond under Aniah’s Law.
