Last week’s single-vehicle accident killed an Adamsville man

According to a recent report by WIAT, a 76-year-old man from Mulga, Alabama, has tragically passed away after spending a week in the hospital due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.

According to the reports, a single-vehicle wreck took place in Mulga, Alabama, on August 14. James Timothy Capps, a resident of Adamsville, was the driver and the only person present in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The crash resulted in injuries to Capps and occurred in the 6000 block of Birmingport Road.

According to reports, Capps unfortunately passed away on Monday, August 21st, around 12:55 p.m. after being taken to UAB hospital. Our deepest sympathies go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.

The authorities at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an inquiry into the factors and conditions that led to the accident.
