Breaking News: Teen arrested after bringing gun to Hueytown football game

Tonight, police have arrested a 16-year-old who brought a gun to a Hueytown High School football game.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says that around 9:35 p.m., School Resource Officers at the Hueytown High School Football game saw a fight in the stands and went to help.

A 16-year-old with a gun tried to run away, but school workers and deputies stopped him.

As cops chased the teen across the sidelines, players and fans were seen ducking for cover.

The gun was found, and the teen was taken to a place for troubled teens.

There were no reported injuries during the incident.
