Police have reported a car crash in Elizabeth that tragically resulted in the loss of two lives. Following the incident, two individuals have been arrested, while another person is currently being sought by law enforcement.
A collision at the intersection of Spring and East Grand streets in Elizabeth claimed the lives of two individuals on Sunday morning. At around 5:42 a.m., authorities reported that a vehicle with three passengers seemed to be escaping from a previous incident when they disregarded a red light and crashed into another vehicle.
According to authorities, the two passengers in the other vehicle were pronounced dead. The police managed to apprehend two passengers from the suspect’s vehicle, but the third passenger managed to escape on foot.
