Early in the morning on Saturday, emergency services in Montgomery swiftly responded to reports of a collision near the Gunter Annex of the Maxwell Air Force Base.
Shatoya Lester, a 33-year-old resident of Montgomery, was found by officials along with the red pickup truck she had been driving in the vicinity of Northern Boulevard and Congressman W.L. Dickinson Drive.
Lester lost his life in the accident, which involved only a pickup truck. The officers declared him dead at the scene.
The MPD stated that they are currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the fatal crash. Unfortunately, no additional information is available at this time.
