Tuesday, police reported that a Lamborghini engulfed in flames when the driver, who was attempting to evade police, plowed into upper Manhattan, killing his 21-year-old passenger.

EMS personnel pronounced his passenger deceased, according to the NYPD. The Hyundai driver, a 37-year-old male, was transported in stable condition to a hospital in Harlem. The police have not disclosed the identities of the two motorists.
The driver of the Lamborghini was detained, according to police, but no charges had been filed as of Tuesday.
