Two Individuals On Foot Die In Separate Accidents Within An Hour In South Los Angeles

Mocobizscene-Just before 11 p.m., a car traveling northbound on Western Avenue collided with a pedestrian crossing the street near 247th Place in the Lomita area.

A male victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. While the investigation is ongoing, the victim’s identity is being withheld. At 12:05 a.m., another pedestrian crossing Obama Boulevard was hit by a car traveling southbound on La Cienega Boulevard, just over an hour later.
