WASHINGTON- On Monday night, Mayor Muriel Bowser of Washington, D.C., issued a hypothermia advisory.
It is scheduled to go into effect at 7 p.m. It is requested that district residents to check on elderly neighbours, people who may be vulnerable, and unsheltered neighbours. It is advised that anyone in need of refuge text or phone (202) 399-7093.
