Teenager shot at gas station on Indianapolis’ west side is now in recovery

Mocobizscene- An Indianapolis teenager is currently receiving treatment at the hospital following a shooting incident at a gas station on the west side of the city. Twyla Wright expressed her distress over her 17-year-old daughter’s situation, emphasizing that she hasn’t even experienced half of her life. As a result, her daughter now has to undergo counseling and consult with a neurologist.

17 years ago, Wright witnessed the birth of her daughter, Tayler Robinson.

“I urge all adults, and particularly the younger generation, to abandon the use of firearms,” Wright passionately expressed. “It is crucial for parents to be vigilant and closely monitor their children.”

In Indianapolis, gas stations experienced a surge in violence throughout the previous year. According to IMPD data, gas stations across the city have witnessed a minimum of eight fatal incidents. Wright’s family is well aware of the risks associated with visiting an Indianapolis gas station, especially since this is the second time they have encountered danger.

The IMPD is currently investigating the case and there are no further updates available at this time.
