Police Raid in Northern Virginia Seizes $6M Worth of Drugs, Weapons, and Cash

Mocobizscene- The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force has made ten arrests following a five-month investigation, as stated in a media release by the Virginia State Police. The investigation revealed a narcotics operation spanning multiple jurisdictions, including Orange, Fauquier, Stafford, Alexandria, Loudon, and Mecklenburg counties.

Multiple search warrants were executed at residences in the six counties on Monday, December 11 and Wednesday, December 13. As a result, ten arrests were made and twenty-four felony charges were filed against the individuals involved.

The task force successfully seized the following items during the operation:

  • A total of 1,861 grams of cocaine, valued at $186,100 on the street,
  • Methamphetamine weighing 556 grams and is valued at $55,600 on the street.
  • The authorities seized 436,400 grams of marijuana, which had a street value of $4,364,000.
  • A total of 1,428 grams of mushrooms, which have an estimated street value of $71,400, were seized.
  • A total of 362 grams of molly, which is valued at $36,200 on the street, was found.
  • They seized 95 grams of MDMA, which has a street value of $9,500.
  • A whopping $287,010 worth of THC wax weighing 9,567 grams was seized.
  • A total of $116,850 worth of THC vape pens, consisting of 3,895 units, were confiscated.

Authorities seized a total of 5,245 packages of THC/Mushroom edibles, which have an estimated street value of $131,125. The authorities seized 11,355 grams of THC concentrate, which has an estimated street value of $340,650.

Authorities seized 66 LSD tabs during the operation, which have an estimated street value of $660. Furthermore, law enforcement officials were able to seize weapons and a substantial amount of $386,230 in U.S. currency.

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force consists of law enforcement officers from several agencies, including the Orange, Fauquier, Rappahannock, Culpeper, and Madison Sheriff’s Offices, as well as the Culpeper, Warrenton, and Orange Police Departments. Additionally, the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Culpeper Field Office, is also involved in this task force.

The case is still active and ongoing.
