NYC hotel murder suspect was arrested after stabbing another woman in Arizona

Mocobizscene-  Raad Almansoori, 26, has now been connected by authorities to numerous more violent attacks on women in various states. After he was accused of dragging another lady into a restaurant restroom so he could stab her, the guy who is accused of killing a mother of four from New York inside a Manhattan hotel earlier this month was apprehended in Arizona.

After being summoned to a McDonald’s on Sunday, police in the Arizonan town of Surprise discovered a woman who had been stabbed multiple times, the department posted on Facebook.

As the victim was being transported to a medical facility, Almansoori pilfered a car and fled. Shortly after, in adjacent Scottsdale, police discovered him inside the car, and they took him into custody, as stated in the department’s Facebook post.

Almansoori allegedly confessed to stabbing the woman inside the McDonald’s and assaulting another woman in Phoenix a few days earlier during his police questioning. He is accused of robbery in Phoenix and attempted murder in Surprise, among other offenses, in Arizona.

Joseph Kenny, the Chief of Detectives for the New York Police, stated during a press conference on Tuesday that Almansoori is wanted in connection with the death of Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, 38, who was discovered dead on February 8 in a Manhattan SoHo hotel.

Edwin Cevallos, the 18-year-old son of Oleas-Arancibia, stated in a Spanish interview with The New York Daily News that he was waiting for his mother to get home from work and had phoned the police when she didn’t.
In an 11th-floor room at the SoHo 54 Hotel, Oleas-Arancibia was discovered dead by a housekeeper next to a blood-stained iron, concealed behind a blanket, according to WNBC.

Medical examiners concluded that blunt-force trauma was the cause of Oleas-Arancibia’s death, and Kenny told reporters on Tuesday that there were “bits of plastic embedded” in her skull. Almansoori allegedly told authorities during his interview with Arizona law enforcement that they should “Google SoHo 54 Hotel” and that he is sought for a homicide in New York. Kenny said.

Despite not having a criminal past in New York, Kenny claimed that Almansoori has charges in Florida, Texas, and Arizona as well as a “extensive out-of-state arrest history.”

Many of Almansoori’s arrests, according to Kenny, involved assault and domestic abuse. According to reports, the man also acknowledged hitting three other “girls” in Florida. According to Kenny, Almansoori’s most “notable arrest” occurred in Sumter County, Florida, the previous year. After posting bail, Almansoori was freed in September despite allegations that he had abducted and sexually assaulted a lady.

According to Kenny, the prosecution is currently preparing to extradite Almansoori back to New York, where he will be charged with the murder of Oleas-Arancibia.

“She was always assisting others. She was an excellent person. She never caused harm to anyone. Everything was always paid for by her,” Cevallos said to the Daily News. She was never in debt to anyone. She was constantly trying to find ways to make them progress.
