16-year-old boy killed during Montgomery robbery: 4th teen suspect charged

Mocobizscene- In Montgomery, a 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in 2023, and now a fourth suspect has been taken into custody.

An 18-year-old named Willie Cole from Millbrook has been charged with capital murder in the killing of Hector Pantaleon Aviles. Cole was apprehended in Prattville on Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Currently, he is being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Authorities made an announcement earlier this week about the arrest of 19-year-old Raymond Kemp in relation to the death of the teenager. Kemp, who already had an attempted murder charge in an unrelated case, was apprehended in Florida.

In December, authorities charged two additional suspects, aged 16 and 17. Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Cloud Street at 11:56 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, according to charging documents.
