Northwest Suspect Runs With Handgun After Shooting

Washington: The Metropolitan Police Department continues its investigation into a shooting that occurred in Northwest this morning, which injured one adult.

After receiving reports of gunfire, police were dispatched to the 1400 block of West St. at approximately 7:26 a.m. on Saturday, November 25. A white Air Force One is worn by a diminutive black male who is described as the suspect. He was last seen fleeing the area while carrying a handgun.

For treatment, an adult male was transported to a nearby medical facility. At the time, he was conscious and breathing. Unknown at this time is the cause of this incident.

The police request that anyone with any information contact them.
