On Wednesday morning, reports of shots being fired in the Arrowhead subdivision, which is situated just off Atlanta Highway, led to the arrest of a minor by the Montgomery police.
Around 8:30 a.m., the police received a call about a shooting in the 100 block of Ocala Drive. Upon arrival, investigators interviewed a witness who reported that her vehicle had been hit by gunfire. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.
The Montgomery County Detention Facility is currently holding a 16-year-old boy who has been charged with discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle. The boy was taken into custody and is facing one count for the offense. As the investigation is ongoing, the Montgomery police have not been able to disclose any further information regarding the suspect or the motive behind the incident.
