Mocobizscene- The investigation into what happened to Tarzana mother Mei Haskell has taken a very bad turn. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed that the parts of Mei Haskell’s body found in a trash can in Encino are hers. The find, which happened on November 8 behind a Ventura Boulevard strip mall, gives the story that has people all over the community a sad new twist.
The abduction of Mei Haskell is linked to the missing persons cases of her mother, Yanxiang Wang, and stepfather, Gaoshan Li. Both men have not been seen or heard from since early November. Samuel Bond Haskell, Mei’s husband, is being charged with killing all three people. He was arrested hours after the body was found, and he won’t be able to make a plea until January.
Evidence in the case includes blood and other things found in the Haskell family home that point to murder. A guy, thought to be Samuel Haskell, was also seen throwing away a black plastic trash bag in the bin where the body parts were later found.
When day laborers said that Samuel Haskell had paid them to move trash bags from his Tarzana home, the investigation took a big turn. They gave the bags back because they thought they might hold dead bodies. One worker said, “When we picked up the bags, we knew they weren’t rocks.”
