Mocobizscene- The 3-year-old, who was abducted from Staten Island and was believed to be possibly in Virginia, has been located. However, the individual responsible for the kidnapping has not been apprehended.
Virginia State Police issued an alert on behalf of the New York City Police Department on Monday, stating that Kadence France was missing. The alert also mentioned that there was a credible threat to the health and safety of the child and that she was possibly in Virginia. According to the alert, Kadence was last seen on Saturday, December 16, in the company of 26-year-old Randalae Rhodes.
After being missing for two days, France was returned to a police precinct in the city on Monday, as confirmed by the NYPD.
According to PIX11 News, France’s father, who chose not to reveal his name, shared the details of the incident. He clarified that Rhodes is France’s mother, but he has custody of their child. On the day in question, he had plans to meet with Rhodes to take their daughter out for Christmas shopping. Both he and their child were outside in their neighborhood at the time.
According to him, he thinks that Rhodes might go to Virginia since she has other kids who reside there with their father.
According to PIX11 News, the NYPD stated that the father successfully persuaded Rhodes to take their daughter to her aunt in New Jersey, who then brought her back to a police precinct in Staten Island.
According to Wavy 10 News, the blue Honda that VSP had warned Rhodes about was discovered abandoned in Virginia Beach. However, as of Monday evening, Rhodes has still not been found.
