Mocobizscene- Mississippi officials have opened an inquiry following the discovery of human remains on Saturday by a hunter who was departing the forest.
According to WTVA in Tupelo, a hunter in Calhoun County discovered the bones on Saturday night close to CR-211.
The Bruce Police Department and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department were sent to the location. In addition to the state crime scene team, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation was also dispatched to the location.
There isn’t any more information available regarding the occurrence.
