Maryland Man Charged with Killing Ex-Wife at Shopping Center

Mocobizscene- Frederick Owusu Sakyi, 33, was apprehended in connection with the tragic shooting death of Tenisha Butler, 33, his estranged spouse, at a Frederick County, Maryland retail center. The occurrence transpired shortly after 11 p.m. in the parking lot of the Urbana location of Giant Food, where Butler was employed.

Federal authorities located Sakyi’s vehicle in Columbia, Maryland, within three hours of the shooting, with the assistance of security footage and eyewitness accounts. Upon Sakyi’s apprehension, a handgun and an assault rifle were discovered in his vehicle.

Sakyi and Butler were proceeding with their divorce, and Sakyi had been the subject of protective orders and menacing incidents in the past.
