Mocobizscene- A tragic incident occurred in Miami Gardens on Sunday night, where a man lost his life due to a fatal shooting. The incident took place just blocks away from the iconic Hard Rock Stadium.
The Miami Dolphins’ match against the Buffalo Bills concluded at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Sunday. As fans were leaving the stadium, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue received a call shortly before midnight regarding a shooting incident near a Walmart on NW 27th Avenue, which is located just down the road.
According to the Miami Gardens police, initial findings from their investigation indicate that the man and a few of his friends were on foot, making their way through traffic after the game when they engaged in a dispute with an individual in a vehicle. Allegedly, this person exited the vehicle and proceeded to open fire on the group, resulting in the man being hit by a bullet.
Jae Jackson, who had just finished his workout at a nearby gym, found himself amidst a crowd of fans leaving the area when four gunshots startled him. Reacting quickly, he sprinted towards the source of the noise.
According to Peter D’Oench of CBS News Miami, an eyewitness recounted the terrifying moment: “I heard four distinct thuds. Suddenly, chaos erupted and people started running. I instinctively took cover and then rushed over to offer assistance.”
“I attempted to converse with him while firmly grasping his hand. His girlfriend approached and reassured him of his strength. Remarkably, in that moment, he raised his arm, igniting a glimmer of hope. However, merely thirty seconds later, his gaze shifted upwards, signifying the end,” recounted Jackson. “Throughout the ordeal, I maintained my grip on his hand and endeavoured to communicate with him, hoping to convey that survival was attainable. Both his girlfriend and brother were present, witnessing the tragic event. It is profoundly unjust for anyone to lose their life in such circumstances.”
According to eyewitnesses at the football game, they were deeply disturbed and horrified by the events.

The officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Dolphin Game Detail quickly responded and immediately initiated life-saving measures.
