Man, 31, stabbed in face with screwdriver near Times Square over cigarette argument

NEW YORK –Tuesday night, after a fight over a cigarette, a guy was stabbed in the face with a screwdriver close to Times Square, according to the authorities.When police arrived at 151 W. 43rd St. at around 7:20 p.m., they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a facial stabbing.

After the suspect asked the victim for a smoke and he refused, the victim was attacked, according to an inquiry.

In stable condition, the victim was sent to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. The assailant left the scene and went somewhere else. An inquiry is still ongoing and no weapon was found.
