Jackson Township coroner identifies 22-year-old fatality of drowning

Authorities have verified that one individual drowned in Jackson Township on Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon was spent scouring a 10-acre lake in Jackson Township for the missing person.

The Mahoning County Coroner David Kennedy reported of the death of Tyler Webb, a 22 year-old male was recovered from a private pond in North Jackson at 5:38 pm. The autopsy was performed at the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner. Jackson Police Department and Mahoning County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.

At 2:00 p.m., dispatchers received word that a male was submerged in a lake on farmland just north of Route 76 and west of Route 45. The Mahoning County Dive Team and a boat from the Milton Township Fire Department were requested by first responders.
