Former New Orleans Model Jailed For Attempted Rape A Year After Release

A man who the New Orleans Police Department was seeking for attempted rape and battery has been apprehended. On Thursday, December 7, officers from the NOPD Special Victims Division apprehended Dean Kelly, a 52-year-old individual, for attempted third-degree rape and sexual battery. These charges stem from an incident that occurred in October.

Kelly, a former New Orleans model, gained recognition for his iconic appearance in an Aerosmith music video. According to police records, he had been incarcerated for the past decade on charges of sexual battery and other offences, before being released in 2022.

Officers have stated that Kelly is anticipated to undergo the booking process at the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
