The investigation into the tragic incident of a man killing two of his children and hospitalizing two others is still underway by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies. They are diligently working towards uncovering the circumstances that led up to this heartbreaking event.
After the accident, medical responders rushed all four children to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, two of them were pronounced dead upon arrival, while the other two remain hospitalized in critical condition. The tragedy has left the community in shock and mourning.
Deputies chased down Serna and apprehended him in the street, as seen in the video from the scene, by tackling him and taking him into custody. Police reported that during his arrest, he was shouting obscenities and had visible facial injuries. The charges against him include murder and child abuse.
