Fatal Collision In Callahan County Claims Two Lives

Callahan County, Texas reported a tragic incident on Saturday night, with two lives lost in a two-car collision on State Highway 36.

The initial investigation found that the crash occurred between two drivers: a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a 2021 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck. The driver of the Chevrolet was heading west on State Highway 36, while the driver of the Honda was travelling in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, the driver of the Chevrolet unexpectedly swerved into the westbound lane, resulting in a collision with the Honda pickup truck.

Dennis Warren, aged 55, from Houston, TX, was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck, while Cristobal Solis, aged 48, from Abilene, TX, was identified as the driver of the Honda pickup.

The families of both drivers who tragically lost their lives have been informed.
