One Killed In A Fatal Freeway Collision In Orange County

ORANGE- Officials reported on Saturday that at least one person was slain when a vehicle caught fire following a collision near an on-ramp to a freeway in Orange.

A CHP spokesperson stated that at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to the Katella Avenue on-ramp of the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, where they discovered the collision.

At the site, the victim was pronounced dead. A SigAlert was generated to advise of the complete closure of all southbound lanes.
