Family Seeks Justice For 4-Year-Old Killed In California Road Rage Shooting

Mocobizscene- The family spokesperson told ABC News on Monday that the parents of a 4-year-old boy, who tragically lost his life in a heart-wrenching road rage incident, are demanding justice. They are calling for the two suspects, who relentlessly pursued their vehicle and unleashed a hail of bullets, to be sentenced to life in prison. The incident, described as “unimaginable” by Southern California authorities, has left the family devastated.

According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the family’s car was allegedly cut off by the assailants on a highway in Lancaster, resulting in a fatal shooting on Friday night in Los Angeles County.

Gor Adamyan, the boy, was identified on Monday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

“It’s truly unimaginable. This tragic event could have affected any of our families, any one of us,” expressed Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris in an interview with Los Angeles ABC station KABC.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has identified the suspects as Byron Burkhurt, 29, and Alexandria Gentile, 27. According to a statement from the sheriff’s department to ABC News on Sunday, both suspects were booked at the Los Angeles County Jail on suspicion of murder.

The sheriff’s department reported that the violence occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time on Friday. Gor’s parents were driving on the Sierra Highway in Lancaster when they encountered the suspects in traffic.

According to the statement from the sheriff, the boy’s parents rushed him to a nearby hospital after the incident, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Miguel Coronado, speaking on behalf of Gor’s parents, expressed their strong desire for both suspects to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

After the shooting took place in Los Angeles County’s Antelope Valley, Coronado, the executive director of Agents for Change, a nonprofit education group, had the opportunity to meet the family for the first time. Impressed by their resilience, he decided to volunteer his assistance to them.

According to him, the mother informed him that they were going to a grocery store when the incident happened.

Coronado has set up a GoFundMe account to assist the family in covering the costs of the funeral. According to the mother, she heard her son utter words like “I’m hurt” in distress.

According to Coronado, those were the final words the parents heard from their son.

According to Coronado, Gor was described as a cheerful and typical young boy. He had a fondness for trucks and stuffed animals and had a positive outlook on life. He had a strong affection for his parents and his family. However, his life was tragically cut short due to a sudden outburst of anger. As a result, Gor will never have the opportunity to attend school, make friends, and experience the joys of kindergarten.

Fortunately, the parents of the boy escaped unharmed. According to Parris, the suspects were swiftly identified and located within a few hours, thanks to the advanced crime-fighting technology installed by the city of Lancaster earlier this year.

According to Parris, law enforcement detectives have revealed that the city’s Flock Safety automated license plate recognition technology played a crucial role in identifying the suspects’ vehicle. This advanced technology is designed to minimize crime by promptly notifying the authorities when a stolen or wanted vehicle enters the city limits.

“We have knowledge of their past whereabouts and their future destinations. Therefore, in the event of a crime, we can determine their current location retrospectively,” Parris explained to KABC.
