According to the university, at least 28 individuals were apprehended on Thursday morning during a demonstration held on Emory University’s campus.
It seems that the chairwoman of the university’s philosophy department was also present at the event.
Noëlle McAfee, the Philosophy Department Chair and president-elect of the Emory University Senate, introduces herself in the video.
She shouts to the man filming the video that she was merely observing the protest, not actively participating, when she was apprehended by the authorities.
In the video, McAfee requests the man to contact the philosophy department and inform them about her arrest.
