Mocobizscene- A federal grand jury has charged eleven individuals in Montgomery for the possession of machine guns.

Law enforcement agencies in Montgomery held a press conference on Friday morning to address the charges related to machine guns.

Special Agent Ashley Lightner from the Alabama Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives emphasizes the potential threat that the small piece of metal poses to both the community and law enforcement.

Several law enforcement agencies, including the Montgomery Police Department, ATF, and the U.S. Marshals Service, are conducting the investigation.
