Several Individuals Face Charges in Extensive NYSP Narcotics Operation

Mocobizscene-Late last week, law enforcement agencies, including the New York State Police, carried out several raids in various locations spanning from Orange County to The Bronx. These operations yielded remarkable success as they resulted in the apprehension of over a dozen suspects. Additionally, a substantial amount of illicit drugs and illegal firearms were confiscated during these raids, marking a significant victory in the fight against crime.

Investigation and Warrants Executed Across New York

The New York State Police, along with the Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET), the Community Stabilization Unit (CSU), and the Orange County District Attorney’s office, collaborated extensively for over two and a half months to ensure the success of this large-scale operation. On December 7, 2023, they finally executed their plan, which required a significant police force, as stated in the press release from the New York State Police.

Law enforcement carried out 11 search warrants at various residences across The Bronx, Warwick, Chester, and Mamakating. During these operations, a significant amount of evidence was confiscated by law enforcement.

Arrested Individuals and Where They’re From

The majority of the arrests, out of the total number of people apprehended, were made in Chester. Specifically, 7 out of the 14 suspects taken into custody hailed from Chester.

    • Christopher Bucci (58)
    • Michael Curtis (32)
    • Jennifer Curtis (31)
    • Klerisa Peterson (30)

Warwick police arrested and charged two individuals, Anthony Bucci Jr, aged 62, and David Rinaldi, aged 31. In addition to these arrests, another individual, Markaj Narcj, aged 30, was also apprehended in Mamakating.

List of Charges and Who’s Hit the Hardest

Four individuals out of the 14 arrests made have been charged with the most severe charges. The names of these suspects are James Baltimore, Antonio Bucci, Tyler Zaborski, and Lestor Zaborski Jr. Each of them is facing first and second-degree charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Conspiracy. Following their arraignment, all four have been remanded to the Orange County Jail.

Ten other suspects who were arrested also face similar charges, although not as severe as the previous four individuals. Christopher Bucci and Michael Curtis, after being arraigned in court, were released under their own recognizance.
