Child struck by vehicle in Fairfax County

Mocobizscene-  A car struck a pedestrian in Fairfax County on Sunday evening, according to DC News Now.

Fairfax County Police are currently present at the site of the collision at Pimmit Dr. and Storm Dr. in Pimmit Hills. A young pedestrian involved in the incident has been transported to the hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening. The driver remained at the scene.

The intersection was closed at the time while detectives conducted their investigation. Fairfax police have announced that the injuries sustained by the juvenile in the crash are no longer life-threatening.
