Mocobizscene- Jalen Leon Bradley, a 27-year-old resident of Overtown, has been charged with second-degree murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and tampering with evidence.
The shooting occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday, as reported by Miami-Dade police.
Authorities have located Bradley in the 8000 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue after impounding the suspect’s black Kia Optima, as revealed by surveillance footage.
Bradley admitted to the murder, according to the police. Additionally, a box of ammunition was discovered in his vehicle.
The victim’s identity is not mentioned in the arrest report, and it does not provide any information on how or if Bradley was acquainted with her.
Bradley was taken to Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center by officers. As of Wednesday afternoon, he is being held there without bond.
In the past, he has faced convictions for various charges, including battery on a law enforcement officer, carrying a concealed weapon, and grand theft.
