Bronx Police Have Arrested A Woman After A Fatal Crash

(New York) Police are investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a car that occurred in the Bronx.

Saturday at 2:30 p.m., according to investigators, the incident occurred following a dispute between the vehicles.

“The victim was found on the ground, covered in blood and with a broken leg; the woman was also on the ground, sobbing, terrified, and shocked.” “It was insane,” stated witness Cesar Garcia.

A fatal road rage incident occurred on Saturday. “Until their arrival, I was essentially on the phone with 911,” said witness Ismael Ramon.

In Longwood, near Intervale Avenue, a 28-year-old woman driving a red Honda Civic was allegedly speeding and driving in the incorrect direction on Fox Street on purpose when she collided with a 23-year-old male riding a moped, according to eyewitness accounts.

“A loud impact was heard on the structure. “I felt it from the third floor down,” Roman explained.

The victim was reportedly rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Bronx-born Robert Jimenez.

“Everyone was absolutely astounded,” Garcia stated.

The woman remained at the scene and was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, according to the police. On Saturday night, while neighborhood residents observed in disbelief, crime scene investigators remained at the location to collect evidence and speak with witnesses.

The woman has reportedly been brought into custody. The police have designated this as a homicide investigation at this time.
