A smoldering metal drum containing the remains of a woman was discovered near Las Vegas. The body was discovered by police and fire officials subsequent to the suppression of the fire.
An investigation into the incident as a homicide is underway; it is the thirteenth homicide committed by Henderson this year. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will disclose the woman’s identification subsequent to informing her next of kin.
The Henderson Police Department should be contacted by anyone suffering from information.
