Mocobizscene- The mysterious disappearance of Krystle Nicole Journee, a 39-year-old woman from New Orleans, has captivated both authorities and the local community. On December 22, 2021, she vanished after embarking on a concert outing with her ex-boyfriend, leaving her loved ones devastated and searching for answers.
Krystle Journee, a mother of three and resident of the St. Roch neighborhood, disappeared after entering a black Toyota Avalon, which belonged to her ex-partner, Roosevelt Marshall. They were supposedly heading to a Fredo Bang concert at the Saenger Theatre. No one knows if she ever made it to the concert.
Journee, known for her vibrant and free-spirited nature, resided with her mother and had an on-and-off connection with Marshall, who is 40 years old. When she went missing on December 26, 2021, her family swiftly reported her absence and has been relentlessly searching for answers ever since.
Surveillance footage from Journee’s home confirmed that she left with Marshall. Despite attempts to obtain footage from the concert venue, it has been unsuccessful, creating a gap in the timeline. The family’s choice to hire a private investigator highlights their desperation and the pressing nature of the situation.
Authorities are eager to talk to Marshall, as they have a strong interest in gathering information from him. While he is not presently being charged in connection with Journee’s disappearance, his past encounters with the law, particularly his previous domestic altercations with Journee, have raised suspicions. The New Orleans Police have documented two incidents from 2020, which involve unauthorized vehicle usage and aggravated assault, and these incidents shed light on the troubled nature of their relationship.
The New Orleans Police Department has been tirelessly working to solve the mysterious disappearance of Krystle Journee. However, her whereabouts still remain unknown, leaving behind a multitude of unanswered questions. Journee, an African American woman, had black hair, brown eyes, and a unique peacock tattoo on her right leg. She was last seen wearing a beige sweater dress, a hat, and black boots.
The New Orleans Fifth District is committed to unraveling the mystery surrounding Krystle Journee’s disappearance. They are urging anyone with information to step forward and reach out to them at (504) 658-6050. The community’s involvement in providing leads and information could play a crucial role in solving this perplexing case and bringing relief to a grieving family.
