Group of individuals arrested for assaulting police officers during arrest attempt in Times Square

Mocobizscene- According to police sources, two NYPD officers were attacked while trying to apprehend a male suspect in Times Square over the weekend.

The incident on Saturday was captured on surveillance footage, which shows officers attempting to disperse a group in front of a building on West 42nd Street. The police have arrested five men, while the authorities are actively searching for seven additional individuals.

Five individuals, aged between 19 and 29, have been accused of gang assault, disorderly conduct, and assault on a police officer. The officers suffered minor injuries and were given treatment at the scene.
