Mocobizscene- Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) have apprehended a teenager for allegedly robbing a man and a woman at gunpoint.
The suspects escaped from the scene. In Northwest D.C., a 14-year-old boy has been arrested and is facing charges of armed robbery. Additionally, he has been charged for a separate robbery that occurred on December 20, 2023.
At around 3:15 p.m., the victims were approached by suspects in the 1300 block of Florida Ave., NW. One of the suspects, with his hands concealed in his pocket, gave the impression of being armed and proceeded to take belongings from one of the victims. Afterward, they swiftly fled the scene.
The investigation into these cases is still ongoing.
