2 kids walking to school hit by minivan in horrifying NYC crash

Mocobizscene-According to police, a minivan struck two kids in Brooklyn on their way to school on Wednesday morning.

Just after 8 a.m., a Nissan minivan driver travelling east on 62nd Street collided with a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy who were crossing 16th Avenue and 62nd Street in Bensonhurst, according to police. Following their transportation to Maimonides Medical Center, the victims’ conditions were assessed as stable, and their injuries were minimal, according to the authorities.

According to police, the driver, a 44-year-old guy, remained at the site and was given a ticket. The crash occurred less than a mile from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High institution and just a few blocks from the exclusive Jewish all-girls institution Bais Sarah.
