Mass shooting at Dineen Park in Milwaukee leaves one dead and nine injured

A tragic incident unfolded in Milwaukee’s Dineen Park early Monday morning, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old girl and leaving nine other teenagers injured due to a shooting.

According to reports, a shooting occurred around 12:30am after a fight broke out at an unplanned car gathering in a park located in the northwest area of the city.

Out of the group of teens that were injured, one male who is 18 years old is currently in critical condition. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 19-year-old female was treated on site for injuries resulting from being trampled during the incident.

Gunfire struck two homes in the vicinity of N. 66th Street and W. Vienna Avenue and N. 67th Street and W. Vienna Avenue, respectively. The incident appears to be related, but thankfully, no injuries were reported at either residence.
