13-Year-Old From Mississippi Accused Of Killing Mother

A 13-year-old girl from Mississippi has been taken into custody due to her alleged involvement in her mother’s death.

According to a report from WTVA, a 13-year-old girl named Lydia Flowers will be charged as an adult. She is currently facing multiple charges, which include first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and attempted murder.

On December 5, tragedy struck when Lou Ann Jones, the mother of the woman in question, was discovered lifeless in her residence on A. W. Williams Drive in Starkville. Authorities were searching for Flowers, who had gone missing, after her mother was discovered deceased.

Flower was apprehended and taken into custody in connection with the case. The authorities have set her bail at a substantial $1.2 million. Another individual has been apprehended as a second suspect in connection with the ongoing investigation.

Nathaniel Davis, a 23-year-old resident of West Point, has been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and accessory after the fact to attempted murder. He has been granted a $1.2 million bond.
