Bombshells restaurant from Texas to open soon in Alabama

Alabama will be welcoming Bombshells, a restaurant and bar franchise inspired by World War II, in the upcoming year. The company has recently opened its newest branch in the suburban area of Stafford, Texas last week. Furthermore, the company has existing branches in Dallas, Houston, and Austin.

Over the next three years, three additional restaurants are set to open in Alabama, with the first one being located in Huntsville.

David Simmons, Director of Restaurant Operations, envisions Bombshells as the perfect destination for casual dining, sports viewing, music, and entertainment in Stafford. He emphasizes that Bombshells is a community-driven establishment that takes great pride in honoring our military, both past and present. “We strive to embody a big, bold, and welcoming atmosphere at Bombshells,” says Simmons.

Bombshells is recognized for its iconic red, white, and blue branding, as well as its aircraft hangar-like structures, military relics, and uniformed Bombshells Girls. These girls embody the timeless pin-up models from the World War II aircraft’s “nose art.” The establishments are open from 11 AM to 2 AM, providing ample time for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and a late-night party scene complete with live DJs. Visitors are welcomed to extend their stay and enjoy the ambiance.

At Bombshells, you can relish delectable dishes prepared from scratch in their kitchen. You can also take your pick from their full bar that boasts an aircraft wing overhead, and enjoy premium spirits and 20 different draft beers that flow through a unique “missile tap”. Their menu is extensive and includes popular items such as the Renegade Pasta, which is penne tossed in Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce, the Double D’s Burger, which comes with double the beef, cheese, and fries, the Ike’s 14-ounce rib eye steak, the Pin Up Girl Salad, and giant desserts like the Fried Cheesecake and Bombshells Brownie.

Travis Reese, EVP of parent RCI, came up with the idea for Bombshells. His grandfather had flown over 100 missions during the Berlin Airlift after World War II. To show appreciation for their service, veterans and active service members of the U.S. Armed Forces can enjoy a 20% discount on meals and soft drinks at Bombshells. The restaurant is also involved in the community, supporting local children’s sports teams and being an overall community-friendly establishment.

Jerry Westlund, a successful hospitality entrepreneur based in Nashville, is set to become the managing partner of the new Alabama venture that will own and operate several Bombshells restaurants in the state. With 30 nightclubs, bars, and restaurants across 12 states, many of which are located in the South, Westlund is well-positioned to oversee the growth and success of the Bombshells brand in Alabama.

According to Westlund, they are delighted to introduce the military-themed restaurant-sports bar concept, Bombshells, to Alabama. The state is home to several military bases, including Redstone Arsenal, Fort Rucker, and Maxwell Air Force Base, and has a population of over 400,000 veterans who have served the country. Bombshells appeals to a broad range of customers, including singles, couples, families, and millennials, with its unique and extensive design that is impossible to miss.
